Never met one to prove otherwise, as a largely speaking law abiding citizen I think that is rather a sad indictment.

The Superintendent who dealt with my case admitted that SY Police had problems with Policing football matches.</p>

He even told me that what happened to me after a game at Bumhole Lane had even happened to one of the inspectors who worked up at Healey.</p>

He also said his wife had to stop him hitting one of his own force when he was on Sheffield Station after a match.</p>

Never met a good un except for Terry Wroe and Mick Oughton.

So you're telling me

that an incident is witnessed by 20000 people, seen on telly by millions and almost universally condemned by neutral observers as being common assault and the police can't take any action?

If it had taken place anywhere else, Morgan would have been arrested and spent a night in a cell and would have been before the magistrates complaint or no complaint, the CPS would have prosecuted.

 

yeah i know but i just ger frustrated being grouped with other people i am an individual and work in my way. its funny people never bother mentioning a good experience with a copper only bad ones - biassed - i think so!!!

I've had plenty of experience, my views are balanced and IMHO 6 out of 10 coppers are total and utter cnuts.

i'm not disputing there are good and bad, believe me i know, i see and hear more than most of you ever will.

my point is ther are some of us who try to do the best we can by the public and treat people with respect, yes i will tell somebody if i think they are wrong and not listening to the way the law is. yes i will get stuck in if theres a scrap in a pub and it needs sorting but al the time i am dong my best to prvide a quality of service to the decent people who i deal with, sometime i make decisions they don't like but i can onlywork with the laws the government lay down.

end of rant lets leave it at that there is more important stuff than this such as the welfare of iain hume!!

That is just a lie spouted by SY police to avoid doing their job.

No crime has been commited against the FA or against BFC, they have no more right to make a criminal allegation than you or I and they also do not NEED to wait till Hume makes a complaint, the man has memory loss and cannot remember the incident yet SY Police CHOSE to ignore complaints from witnesses to a crime while he was in hospital with only peoples word has to what had happened to him.

They CAN investigate the crime, they CHOOSE not to.

Did Beattie make a formal complaint to SY Police about an object being thrown NEAR him at Oakwell? I very much doubt it but the police CHOSE to investigate it despite no complaints.
