    How about this:

We all get to vote on one person from Yorkshire who can go down to Parliament and punch David Cameron, George Osborne, Boris Johnson and Nick Clegg in the mouth, hard, once each. Not sure about Miliband. Don't think he could take it.

Plus how about this - in law, if you promise something in your manifesto, you have to ****ing do it. If you can't deliver on your promises or you break your promise not to do something - back to the polls. Lying ******* doesn't get to stand again. And Yorkshire gets to vote on a big bloke to smack all the leaders again.

how would local tax raising powers be policed? they struggle world wide with multi national companies, all you would get is companies (including small local businesses) registering their addresses in the cheapest place or moving 20-30 miles away to save a few quid, you could even get villages closing down if they are close to a boundry where tax saving could be made?
