I’ve got some devastating news regarding Beth from the office

Sending best wishes. As many have said, an unsung legend of the club

 

Sending my best wishes to Beth, hope all turns out OK, get well soon.

 

Oh no, terrible news. It was only a two or three weeks ago that Beth was sorting something out for me - as usual with trademark efficiency. The phrase 'above and beyond the call of duty' typifies Beth and as someone who benefitted from her reaching out to me personally at a particularly low point I can only hope that she now is able to recover, fully and swiftly. My best wishes go out to her at this time.

 

I've never been anything other than impressed by how calm and friendly and downright efficient Beth is - a marvellous servant for the club. Get well soon Beth.......

 

Just a thought but when Beth recovers I think the club should ask her to come on the pitch at the start of next home game....it would be great to stand and applauded and really show Beth how much she means to the fans and the club.. ...

 

When I needed to get a Disabled pass for the car park Beth took great care of me. She explained everything and even took me outside to show me where the new parking was to be marked out and saw to it that I could park near enough to the entrance so as not to have to worry. Everything she promised me she delivered on and was enormously helpful and a great credit to the Club. I do so hope that she gets well soon and that she reads these words from us, the supporters.

 

Get well Soon Beth. on the handful occasions I have met here she has been amazing. As everyone here says a true credit to the club and the community.

Living here as we do I have never met Beth and have only once had any contact some years ago when I had issues with i-Follow at the start of a match . She responded instantly even though she was probably occupied on other matters at the time and put me on the right track. From what I have read on here, she is one of those rare customer facing employees who actually puts people first, treats them like valued customers and goes the extra mile to help.
I can only echo all the comments on this thread and sincerely hopes she makes a full recovery. Best wishes to her family too at this stressful time.

Beth has always been brilliant with me, and clearly everyone else she comes across

Prayers she pulls thru. She was amazing with me when we played Wigan away in 2016 when we beat them 4-1 to guarantee playoffs.

Went on bus and realised half way thru journey that I’d left my match ticket at home. I emailed her whilst travelling and she instantly replied and sorted me a ticket out to be picked up from the Wigan box office. Absolute diamond. Saw her in ground and she hugged me and called me a right pillock

Didn’t have to do what she did as most people wouldn’t have bothered. She’s a absolute credit to the club.

 

I’m in my 20s, the football club has always been a part of my life. Beth has always been there since I can remember, I’ve not known anything else, I’ve dealt with her since I was a kid and first started going to the games on my own, up until the present day, and hopefully beyond. If I’m Purchasing tickets, collection of tickets, sorting out ticket problems, buying merchandise to helping my grandad sort his disabled spot from east stand to ponty car park. She has always been there to assist. She’s a massive part of this football club and our experiences with it. I wish her all the best.

Like thousands of others, she won’t know who I am personally, but we all know who she is, she makes us all feel that way. Great character trait to have.

I wish her all the best and praying the next update is a positive one. Keep fighting lass, hopefully you’re back on the other end of the phone soon.

 

I once had a thank you card, in my coat pocket, for about two months as I wanted to thank her for a huge favour she once did for me regarding season tickets.
Whenever I caught sight of her before a game, she was always that flat out busy that I felt silly giving it to her, so didn’t.
But she’ll soon know how highly thought of she is, by everyone, when she is back on her feet.

She's always been exemplary whenever I've been into or phoned the box office. Really hope she pulls through this
