I'm getting to the stage where I can't really remember

exactly what happened. I know that the assets were placed in Oakwell Community assets and money borrowed against them to buy the club, but I've read and heard so many things since then I find it hard to distinguish fact from rumour.

It was part of the deal to get out of admin that the Council put money in and got the ground (also it stopped crafty speculators like Doyle from buying the club to sell the stadium and land at a profit)

How you figure that out? I might be wrong but I only think one team has got relegated on 50 points and that was when Stockport were the league whipping boys who everyone beat. I reckon with the league this close 46 would be enough.

    with our current form

we will be lucky to get 3 points by the end of feb, take your rose tinted specs off and smell the coffee,if things dont change soon we will be right in it,if we stay where we are then yes,it will have been a decent season for us,but at the minute i am afraid, very afraid!

i'd go and arrange a meeting with Gordon and his board mate...

because that would rectify your inaccurate opinion that they are doing nothing about the current situation I would have thought :)

    RE: with our current form

you've hit the nail on the head...'with our current form' and I have to admit to being, shall we say, concerned. If the squad is not improved prior to the end of the month then the concern will increase, if we then do not use the loan system to our advantage then we may have a problem.

I don't think for one second SD is sitting there twiddling his thumbs.

If only football was as simple as that, would swap a defeat at Sarfend for a win against Colchester anyday. Then again, this time next week we could have bolstered the squad with proven championship players and never look back,we are certainly at the crossroads of where will be come May.
