Can you imagine how frustrated liverpool fans are with Crouch. They're not booing him though. They're doing everything they can to encourage a goal from him and his play and confidence reflects it.

I do know where you're coming from and it's much easier to boo people. I just don't think it's ever had a positive effect. Look at the players we've lost that have been put under the same intense pressure by a section of fans.

exactly well said! its all a confidence thing - hopefully if they start scoring a couple then more will come!

Its customers the team needs not supporters.</p>

supporters are just noisy people trying to make the team play better. while ever they're doing that we have no chance of getting the likes of Rooney down here. For a start how will the management know who is good and who is crap. if everyone is cheering all the time. And there's no incentive for the players to try unless they are frightened of criticism and abuse.</p>
