I don’t think it’s too harsh to say after today I’d seriously consider dropping them all

Are people really going to look at the team wearing that and think “hmm, looks great - let me get one from the shop next week”. Only a very small number would, I think. I really don’t like it.

That’s twice you’ve said this on two different posts but I think it’s more to do with embarrassment than superstition, or else we’d probably want to look at changing our home kit.

I went to Stevenage the first time we wore it. I didn’t feel we lost because we wore pink, but as I said at the time, it felt worse for being so poor and wearing pink.

Played ok yesterday, but their comms poked fun at the kit all game.

This is just my opinion. I’m no more superstitious about the kit than I am about losing at Coventry, but I think the kit is hideous. It’s not smart or quirky, it’s like fancy white boots on a fat lad. You’ve got to be able to carry it off, and in 4 attempts we’ve not managed it, despite being the best away team in the division.

Fair enough charities need cash flow. But, it is a bit of an assault on the eyeballs when I have seen highlights of them wearing it. I don’t like the all red either. I suppose I am now in line for a forum rollicking for being a dinosaur.

Just my opinion, we went on a poor run at home it wasn't suggested we change from red, or put our right boot on 1st or put a lucky charm in our dressing room. The kit doesn't look great but imo it makes no difference to the scoreline today we missed 2/3 sitters to win the game I don't for a 2nd think if we had a different coulor shirt on we score those.

Or maybe one of the players walked under a ladder midweek and were cursed with bad luck now.

I don’t know what you’re disagreeing with me about mate, I’ve just said in my first paragraph that people haven’t called for a change of home kit due to poor results at Oakwell.

I haven’t said there is any reason to be superstitious around the pink kit, just that it’s ridiculous and many people dislike it.

It’s ok for people not to like a bright pink football strip and associate it with not winning without being labelled isn’t it? Especially as it is bright pink and we’ve never won in it. That’s not superstition, it’s fact.

If people think the pink kit is why we didn’t win, they need their bumps feeling.

Absolutely hate it as a colour and looks worse on a football pitch. Purple would run it a close second. Neither suit my Mrs n'all. :)
Yet again the away kit overlooked for commercial reasons I'm guessing (Got the udders reason.). If not, then stick to red or Silver/grey. Imo that is.

Ah didn't see that bit and I wasn't really disagreeing with you just my opinion is 1 superstition is a load of ****** and 2 the kit does look **** but i dont think its anything to do why we didnt win yesterday. 3 last seasons American kit with the stars also was ****.

Not sure why you replied to my 1st post then, maybe it was the superstition been for weak minded people. But if you think putting your right boot on 1st or sprinkling some lucky heater about or even the coulor of a shirt will effect the result of a sporting event then....

I clearly don’t believe any of that stuff, as I have reiterated countless times.

    Btw - what’s lucky heater?
