RE: Well I thought that it was embarrasing and

I agree - It was theatening, it was emotional, it wasn't the best choice of words and it was OTT. But his frustrations I can totally ympathise with. The man was essentially venting his frustrations over the seemingly indifferent and blase attitude of Radio Sheffield's presenters to one of our players nearly getting killed.

I wonder if Hume's family - including his poor 5 year old daughter - are happy to live with the presumption Morgan's a 'good lad, he would never go out to intentionally hurt anyone'?

RE: What would you like him to say?

    I didn't post that right. :)

I was referring to Seth not the blades fan! It was just his reaction to a question...Morgan WOULD be in Blackwells squad for saturday... He had no doubts about that. How the hell can he be so sure of that ? Morgan shouldn't be playing saturday. Piss poor comment !

I'd rather Seth Bennett not speculate on such...

...Ball lads ban for Man City?? His tackle on the pompey lad. Should be an example for the FA.

    Do you honestly think

they would entertain any intelligent discourse from a reds supporter?

I'm dubious to say the least.

Won't listen to the ***** in any case. Its unadulterated rhubarb. When they replace Bennet and Giddings I might reconsider.

He sat on the fence leaning south.

And danced around the facts in a tutu.

    Well said

    Quote from Bennett -

"I don't necessarily agree with that. Some of the criticism of Barnsley is harsh"

After a Blades fan had been on accusing us of just creating a fuss cos we don't like losing to them.

He'd also just put Barnsley's view across to another Blades fan.

If we want people to view us in a different light from the old stereotypes then we need to start behaving in a manner that will do that.

I think it's important to keep things in perspective, there's no point in people getting so angry about something they have no control over.

My digestive biscuit just broke off in my first fresh coffee of the day and I'm ******* livid.

At the end of the day...

It's a game of football, yes, the key word being game. It's something that is meant to be enjoyed and loved by all, that's it. The state that the game is in now, at least at a professional level is quite frankly, absurd. Money prevails for the majority, rather than love and passion for the game.

A player is lying in hospital in what can only be described as a act of thuggery. That is the main concern, above all else - petty rivalries, winning or losing, or anything. A human being as had his skull fractured. Nuff said'

Isn't is about time that people started growing up. I mean, come on, that loon who was on the radio last night - was there really any need for what was said? I really don't think so. He only aided in making himself and the followers of Barnsley FC look like idiots. Just ridiculous.

Why can't people just grasp the fact that we are on this Earth for a very short period? There are more important things in life than football and petty rivalries. I feel my words are merely floating on the wind. But, overall, I agree with what TNutkins had to say.

The trouble with radio Sheffield and in particular Bennet and Giddings is that they both put themselves on a soapbox, and their word on most subjects is final. If anyone seems to disagree they either get cut of or the said presenters want to move on to other topics sharpish. What Chris said last night was a bit OTT, but i presume he had worked is self up into a state ( like most of us this week) and was only relaying to Bennet what most Barnsley fans were feeling. He could have put it better, but we are all not so articulate in the English grammer like some on this board. :)

And what has my financial status got to do with it?
