    Get a new one at what cost. Personally I would like all available monies to be spent on the team and hopefully a push for promotion.
    If we moan at our unruly element hiking the police costs up and therefore depriving us of revenue for team building, then sticking with the existing scoreboard makes sense for the time being.

    Spot on, too many moaners, too much negativity and not enough positivity. Complaining because they can't get a pie? Winge, winge....don't know how they would cope in the real world.

    Ben mansford stated that a scoreboard would be self financing paid for over a ten year period at a lower cost than would be brought in via advertising. Rather than taking money away from the playing budget it would surely ADD to that budget wouldn't it? And that's without taking into account the increased revenue from supporters

    Can't see that you said owt wrong. You basically said we all moan sometimes and we tend to be like other family members. I think even the most genial folk do have a moan occasionally and we do tend to show some characteristics of our parents. I couldn't take offence at that if I tried.

    Fair point, but we have what we have and that scoreboard was always going to be used on Thursday, so no surprises on that front.

    I was sat in East Upper you could see it arriving through the gap between North and West stands about that time.

    Did you not read what I said? The club had nothing to do with anything match day operations, be it making sure the ground was ready to making sure they had enough ball boys, the FA took over the ground and ran the whole show 100%. The FA brought their own staff to do everything, I guess the reason they used our PA announcer was for the fact of I bet the FA don't employ somebody to do that as there will be somebody on the books down at Wembley to do that for them.
