    I've stayed twice in St Lawrence Gap. Loved it. Never went out in Hole Town, but did a full island tour (twice) plus the helicopter tour.

    Shame about The Ship. I reckon whatever I drank in there I lost in burnt calories on the dance floor.

    Also had a few nights in The Harbour Lights Bridgetown, with my sister, first time I went. Can't remember much!

    If you like rum, mount gay rum factory at Bridgetown is good and only $10 entry with a few free drinks.

    Wednesday night at harbour lights is also a good night out.

    Ive been to aruba and the ships normally stop in the capital oranjestad, which is as big as wombwell town centre. It has a very dutch feel about it and the whole island seemed perfectly safe while we were there (geared to the yanks). If you want a walk on a nice beach, a swim in the sea and a relaxed beer or two in a beach side bar. Head to the little bus station and get on a bus to divi beach, then follow it round to eagle beach. Only a 15 minute bus ride, easy peasy.
