A York City fan came on this board when we signed him ...

.... and said something along the lines of .....

- he's **** and idle;
- he's not even a Conference League player, never mind a Championship Player;
- he couldn't believe that we had signed him;
- he couldn't believe that they were actually going to get money for him; and
- he hadn't started a match for them since March '09, for the above reasons.

Sorry, but that's what he said, and I went on their version of this board and they were all laughing their c*cks off at us signing the guy.

so whats happened to waiting until you see him yourself before making judgement?

For what it's worth, I have seen the guy (play against **** opposition) and he looked ok, no better than that, no worse - better than I expected after seeing what the York fans thought of him - that still doesn't make him a Championship player and our saviour though

Bitterness maybe? From the bits I have seen of him he looks like more than a Conference player. Can't say if he is up to the Championship yet but neither can the York fans. Get off his back and give the lad a chance.

 

Ok, so let me amend my first post then to read .....

..... I keep saying it, but we should have got shut of him straight after the Plymouth match, because in my opinion he never learns from his mistakes. We missed relegation by the skin of our teeth, and with 15 days to go we have let 4 or 5 first team players leave and signed no f*cker at all. How can that be progress?

 

Mc Cormack's agent was in touch with Barnsley before he signed for Cardiff!
