As in where in the country or where to start on the BBS?

I want to stay around the area, probably end up in Leeds where my girlfriend works and studies at the minute.

And I think i'd start on 'thereev's need for attention......

Congratulations. And its great to hear that you've got a plan and haven't just done the course for no particular reason or with no intention of using it. Sounds like you've put the effort in with a vision for the future so I hope that all plays out well for you.

Fancy doing a bit of occupational psychology into why the ****s in red shirts only seem able to do their occupation for 45 minutes a week?

Cheers mate. Yeah I plan to use the degree for my career, hoping it all pans out right.

I think I could probably give them some advice to play better.....

It's ironic really. An old fossil learning about old fossils.

    Re: That's Palaeontology!

In that case then what the hell is archaeology? Would I be right in guessing that palaeontology is things that used to be alive (dinosaurs and the like) and archaeology is things that didnt (old pots and such)?

    No

Archaeology is the scientific study of past human life and it's activities, which can include human and animal remains. Paleontology is the scientific study of life through geological periods by the use of fossils.

I'll have to polish up my tools

But, somehow, I don't think I'll need my floppy sun hat, ala Phil Harding, this summer!:D

What's anthropology then? Thought that was the study of past human life?
