Congratulations and a 2.1 to boot.

I don't know how old you are or if you have ever worked but the advice I would give you is don't be afraid to be a toilet attendant to build up a career.

A menial job can help build your career says I who's first job in 1966 was to clean the bogs and wash room out at the garage I was apprenticed to.

I ended up as a senior lecturer in FE and have a B.A and a B.Sc. and I still work with Colleges.

    Exactly.

Don't get me wrong I had a lot of fun, did my fair share of drinking and had amazing nights out, but I knew when to knuckle down as well.

Just hope it all pays off!

Congrats mate. I'm in exactly the same boat, graduating on Monday with a 2:1 in Psychology. I'm also stuck for a year or two trying to save for Masters, bit of a ****** isn't it.

Well done lad, what Uni you go to??

Yeah it's *****, just because I cant get money of mummy and daddy it means I can't progress academically. What's all this about equal opportunities for people from under-privelaged home?

    Its bullsh*t.

Congratulations mate, I graduated last year from Sheff Hallam.

Trouble is now, that's the best days of your life behind ya, and the hard bit of getting a job, hope you're looking already mate, because I started looking a month or two after i'd done, and it wasn't until January that I finally got sorted.

    Congrats again mate.
