HOW CAN YOU BE NEGATIVE AFTER THAT PERFORMANCE........ sorry for shouting

I don't get it, I just don't get it............ for the first time in a long time we play well, win, and see passion from the players. We kept possession well (most of the time) and made the most of our man advantage. And best of all we beat the Owls, it seems an absolute age since we beat them last 10years?

Right here and now I could have wished for a better performance, and result! We are not Man U/Real Madrid and we will not steam roll teams week in week out. GET REAL!!!

Muller had little to do. The back four were solid, the midfield were outstanding and the forwards worked tirelessly. I could ask nothing more from the lads last night........ what do you people want?

My ratings:
7 - Muller - had little to do
8 - Foster - solid! back to his best at fullback.
8 - Moore - solid! kept it simple and cleared the ball
9 - Souza - solid! Won everything
8 - Kozluk - solid! broke forward & defended well. Lucky not to avoid x-rated challenge!!
10 - JCR - mr consistency does it again. They couldn't handle him!
9 - Colace - Assured performance. Kept possession and slowed down play. Looks like the missing piece in our jigsaw
6 - Anderson - worked hard off the ball, but lost possession far to often. Not his best game by a long shot!
9 - Devaney - Was up for it big time! ran them ragged, unlucky not to score.
8 - Macken - Worked hard, held ball up well and set up Hume for the first goal.
8 - Hume - Worked hard and finished well for first goal!!

Subs:
7 - KO - won a few headers when he came on, looks much improved this year! & better for being impact sub, rather than starting player.....

He might be a bit wasteful at times, but IMHO he is the player with the highest potential in our entire squad. (I'm not talking about "future potential", but potential to create something in a game) Remember his FA Cup crosses last season? World class. And running around creates space and opens up the game.
I believe our best midfield now has to deeper central midfielders, which should open up for Disco and JCR on the wings.

Strange that, 'cos I thought disco had a great game, managed to beat his man much often than usual, linked up well with the front 2 and the rest of the midfield, and I thought he put some decent balls in too.

I also thought the keeper made a good save for his first effort. His second I think looked like a very tired attempt, but I can't knock that after the effort he put in

I personally didn't think we sat back particularly, I just think we looked a bit tired (Macken looked knackered when we went off), and they were always going to have a spell where they got back into it, even if it was only brief, and even if they still looked ****
