You've obviously not been on here long enough to know what it's like with Hemsworth CONSTANTLY turning benign threads into something 1) anti-Steele, 2) anti-Hassell, 3 )anti-German....pick 1 of 3 (or even all 3 at times). It's not about him having an opinion, it's about him destroying this board. He has to learn to let go of his animosity towards certain people. I don't want him banned permanently (notwithstanding him receiving several "final warnings"), but this place would be a lot more fun if he could learn to back off and grow up.

Also, admin are volunteers. Without them this board would not exist. I'm pretty sure they have got better things to do, particularly on a lovely Spring day. Think about it before you slate them. Or perhaps you could do a a better job?

I'll take up an admin role as long as someone can teach me how to turn a blind eye to a poster being told variously amongst other things that he's a spaz, a paedo for watching the juniors, his mother must be doing him sexual favours and he should have been given a good hiding when he was younger as it might have taught him to shut up.
I might also need legal advice on what to say if the police come calling about the forum's anti-bullying policy and how it was supposed to protect easy targets. "He just wouldn't shut up about how much he hated Steele, Hassell and the German" might not cut it.

 

A few facts about hemsworth tyke

He sits a few rows behind me at oakwell and he is definitely NOT a young nieve kid or a bit of a lad, he's 6'plus, approaching 25 and most definitely a man. Now when I was that age I'd been working on the steelworks since I was sixteen. As in any heavy industry, the **** takes, pranks and wind ups are endless and I enjoyed joining in with them as much as the next man. But at that age I was capable of recognising, that if I carried on playing the same crap prank over and over again, my workmates would eventually get fed up and I would get it back in spades.

Lets just be clear, hemsworth doesnt hate luke steele, bobby hassel or danny wilson, he's a Barnsley fan so likes them all. Its just that they are popular with the masses so he uses them as a tool, a way of drawing attention to himself and getting a rise out of people. To my memory, he has being playing this same crap prank on the board for at least five years and I'm not surprised people occasionally snap. Personally I'm sick to the back teeth of this tired old prank and my advice to the people who are also sick of him, is to stop feeding his desire for attention by not responding to any of his wind up posts.

Starve him of his attention and he'll either give over with it or **** off.

Go on then. Put your name forward for admin. I'm sure they are all desperate to spend their free time doing this. They cannot police every comment and that is why there is a "report post" button. I don't believe anyone is turning a blind eye... hence 2 people being banned today.

As for your ******** above, I can't recall anyone calling him a 'spaz', a 'paedo' or suggesting his mother did him sexual favours. But I take it you can bump these threads up, yes? And I'm sure you reported these shocking posts you speak of, to site admin?

By the way, I'd take very unkindly to you being site admin. I can't stand the idea of someone who doesn't support BFC, moderating a BFC forum. Oh, and pass on my best wishes to Scotty Hogan. Looked a nasty one that the other night. Hope he recovers well.
