    I’ll still be proud of what the lads have achieved no matter where we finish but I’ll definitely be thinking that we got so close .

    Me too because if it doesn't happen this season it might not happen again for a few seasons. We're 21 years on from our last opportunity. Those saying "we'll be ready in 18 months" be careful for what you wish for.

    I still think there’s room for improvement…which is a good thing. At the minute our difference is how we play without the ball. With the ball, still more work to do. I’d like to see more composure with a pass. We give possession away far too easily and against better sides we’ll get punished. We’re just very good at regaining it.

    Sometimes when we pass it's like pinball. There was some excellent one touch stuff in the final third but you could see there was no thought behind it. In the end it just ended with a miss placed pass. It needs an end product even if it's row Z.

    Thanks to VI the team has exceeded my expectations already this season, anything from here on in is a bonus. The play-offs are a realistic target now. The team is no longer threadbare with a very good bench to draw on and our head coach knows how to use it.
