Glad to see you’re on the up, Dan. I’ve been down that path myself and speaking up about it helped so much. Keep going mate, you can do this.

Great post. Kept my issues to myself for yonks. (Work related) people on the outside nothing appears out of norm. Opening up to the first person is a massive relief. Gets better from there. Now have no issues at all opening up to anyone that wants to listen.

Excellent post mate, thanks for sharing. That must have been a difficult thing to write. You probably saw my post about my friend who was a Luton fan who suffered from depression and didn't make it, sadly.

Good luck in battling the demons. The fact that you've opened up about it shows that you've got the tools to win this one.

Hey fair play to you fella. Glad you're feeling more like your old self. The one big thing for me, is you are prepared to "open up" and talk about your illness. There's an old saying viz: " a problem shared is a problem halved" and Ibelieve that to be true. My dear Sister who lives in the Midlands now, had a couple of periods in her life, when to all intents it appeared that she had sadly gone insane. At first, it was kept from the rest of the family and she was given a load of pills to stupify her. When we learned the full truth about her illness, my Mum re-located from Donny and went to the Midlands to nurse her and care for her. With that and the love and attention of us " all" who were around her, over a period of time, she made a full recovery and some twenty years on is thankfully back to her lively best.
Today's a happy day. Hopefully bud your future will be a happier one. I sincerely pray that your former partner and others realise that your previous words/ actions occurred at a time when you were in a bad place and you are all able to fully re-connect. Good luck for your future bud. Think positive, think good thoughts and stay healthy. Keep supporting our beloved Reds. Like your life, fingers crossed, let's hope that the really good times can return.

    Sincere best wishes.
    Donny Red.
