Yep, having watched it today I'm fairly comfortable that we're not looking at relegation this season. We'll have some poor days as we tackle the learning curve but there seems enough there for solid mid table and, given a couple of decent additions, maybe a touch higher.
I think the Ipswich game may be a good indicator of just where we may rank. If we can give them a good game, even if we don't win, then we could well be top 6 challengers. But still too early to assess fully. We're in a strange position where we still have players we thought would be gone, areas of ridiculous excess, and fringe players we'd like to offload but seem to be struggling to find interested parties for. If we can offload Styles, Helik and Leya Iseka, maybe even Oduor, thats about what I expected for the window. It then becomes a case of what we can bring in cheaply to provide Duff with the options he wants if suspensions and injuries bite. But promising signs from the first few games for sure.
