So you don't you who you would replace the board or the manager with - you just know they should go today. So how is the Club being run? You're a good guy Zaz, but it doesn't sound like you've got any plan beyond 'sack them all now'. I would suggest this is precisely why we're in the $hit we're in today.. And herein lies the problem. People on the sidelines, waving their pitchforks every 12 months, with zero solutions beyond 'just sack him now' I absolutely cannot get why people don't realise this is part of the problem. Totally don't get it. Absolutely clear as day to me.. We can do better than this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Do I **** have a solution. Right now, my only view is getting everyone pulling in the same direction. Agree a plan and stick with it. Dialogue to move the Club forward. I genuinely don't believe sacking the manager will help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fair do's See you in League 2 That's wrong sorry I won't be wasting any more of my time or money on em. Sad but I will not be alone
Where has constantly sacking managers got us before I'm not convinced a new manager would stop the rot the problems go higher than Lee Jay. If we got someone new in and we were relegated you would be calling for his head then.
I am sorry Marc, I do understand your frustration. You are bemoaning the pitch fork wavers for suggesting that the manager should go and indeed they should all go, without having any clue as to what to do then. I can see your point, to some degree. In reality, even though we are all more and more convinced that the demise is in some part down to the board, the fact for me remains that LJ is not the right man to manage the club. It is just my view and not a universally shared one but is based on the fact that he has achieved nothing anywhere, and in fact the only knowledge that followed him over the pennines from Oldham was the warning from Oldham about just how boring his football is. Can't say we weren't warned. If we can't get rid of the board (which we can't) then at least we can have another stab at getting a more competent manager. I know we don't want to keep changing managers and we want some stability but for that to work you have to have at least an inkling that you might have the right man to stand by in the first place. Of course, the board might get it wrong and appoint another dud, but we have a dud now. By contrast, your plan of making sure we are all pulling in the same direction amounts to little more than the use of a meaningless management speak phrase, then crossing your fingers and hoping for the best.
If the fans want a strategy of sacking every manager at the first signs of struggle, then fair enough. But I don't see how they can then attack the Club for doing just that. As for meaningless mgmt speak phrase. I mean a group of people physically getting together, to come up with a physical proposal for change, to put forward to the Club. Would you be up for taking part? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I do agree with your point Marc but the first signs of trouble are long gone, we're in a complete mess and it goes above LJ. That doesn't absolve LJ from blame because I don't think he's a good manager, far from it. Yes we have to stick with a manager but it has to be the right manager.
