You have every right to say what you want I'm just wondering what for? What does it achieve? How does it help the team during a match, or on here if they read it?
Tell me, do you say nothing at a match or shout and bawl...... at a refereeing decision? I'm pretty sure you do, it won't change nowt but you feel better, Oddjob has gone from a frustratingly crap footballer to a figure of fun and ridicule, he deserves 90% of it.
Good Answer Yes I do, good point. It is frustration as you say. I suppose the difference is I don't support the referee, but I do support anyone who plays for us regardless of their ability, and I always want them to do well. I have opinions about most of our players, good and bad, but I would never abuse any of them (well perhaps after they had left!). Each to their own. My point was not really addressed at you it was a general one. Near where I sit there are a couple of blokes who abuse players, manager all the game and moan the entire time. That's their right, but when we score, they just sit there stony faced. Why don't they celebrate with the rest of us? I'm sure you do when we score. What's the point in them paying good money if they don't enjoy it when we score and win? Anyway I for one am looking forward to the season. I always do.
RE: Tell me, do you say nothing at a match or shout and bawl...... I think the point is, getting on a players back (a player who plays for us), may well cause him to play worse, not better. In Oddjob's case I think this is definitely true. Some players respond to a kick up the rear, some need nothing but support. Yes fans who pay their money have a right to say what they feel, but I just think it's better to offer support at the time & do the grumbling afterwards, preferably in the pub with a few friends.
Never wanted a player to succeed as much. Something likeable about him. Unfortunately I can't see it happening.
Power? He's the weakest striker we've got Put the ball in the air to him inside the box and 9 out of 10 times he'll end up laid on the floor. As for pace, well when exactly does he show this? Twice a year?
