If JL takes the training from Monday then we've obviously failed in our attempt to bring a new coach in.. Whether that be for visa reasons..or coaches just don't want to work under the clubs constrains (the plan) and see the job has a hiding to nothing... Or that we are just tinpot and run by amateurs.. Take your pick..
Absolutely. And I suspect they know who they wanted before he was sacked. Maybe it’s not announced as they’re awaiting the permit to arrive before doing so - which makes sense from a PR point of view. It might have all been signed and sealed last week for what we know I’ll cut them a bit of slack for now though - they’ve overall done ok with coaches. And no club gets it 100% right with them.
Totally agree - the issue being with this, is that until the permit is granted, you don’t know when it will be. So even the greatest candidate available from Europe might be delayed by weeks despite qualifying perfectly. Both the Belgium lads had no issues for permits, just the Home Office were slow. However Ronaldo’s was done in 48hrs or something. That’s why the board complained.
I agree, I think we should just drag in the next person off the street and give it him till the end of the season. We might get relegated, but at least we'll have appointed someone, and that's the main thing here, getting anyone, not just the right person.
The problem here is who is doing the selecting.. The selection is totally for the benefit of the owners agenda and not for the good of the club. And deffinitely not the fans.. So to be sure not to forget the sell on lads..

It was only until a few weeks ago that I discovered that there were only 6 firemen in Trumpton, not 7. For many many years I thought Barney McGrew was 2 people.... Barney and McGrew! Edit: and according to reports they never put any fires out, but did manage to rescue the mayor's hat and find some missing paintings!
