Agree....Diggers playing at England U-19 level should mean he plays for BFC when fit surely?

I've an opinion that this lad will be a great player......."strong as a bull" as my Grandad used to say!

"what has anyone done this season? last year he was colossal for us. he hasn't turned into a bad player overnight. the whole squad is in disarray, with bizarre formations, players being played in crazy positions and inexplicable squad rotation.

we should have been played a settled middle three, with kelvin at the heart of it. instead, we're playing....well, i don't know what we're playing. but i imagine poor old kelvin is just as confused as all of us"

I agree with that too Jay, except I think colossal is an overstatement, unless he means his height! To be clear, my post was not intended to have a go at Etuhu, I'm just puzzled why people single out Dawson, when in their respective careers at the club, Dawson has contributed a lot more positively, despite not having as much 'natural talent'.

You're right, 'colossal' is probably over egging it a bit, but tomfun is right too, he was very good last season. Or he was under Flicker, not so under Hill. He's also right that very few players have been much good this season (with the honourable exception of Chris O'Grady). And like everyone else, I believe that is predominantly down to the weird and wonderful team selections, tactics and formations. But the players have to take some responsibility. They haven't reached the same standards as they consistently delivered in the second half of last season even if they are confused by the role they have been asked to play. I do have some sympathy with the frustration Flicker must be feeling. But I also have a lot of sympathy for the frustration everyone is feeling with Flicker's decisions.

For what it's worth, I also thought Dawson played well last season apart from that stupid sending off against Charlton.
