Understandable. That was an FA Cup semi final and we hadn't been for 8 years. We've been plenty since and not to the same level. If we reach Wembley in a League Cup final, FA Cup semi final or final, or a Championship play off final we would take 35k.
Novelty’s probably wore off. It was a massive deal in 2000 because no one had seen us play there, 2006 at Cardiff similar story and 2008 for the new Wembley. Back there 3 times since 2016, with possibility of another visit this year, then add an automatic promotion with Stendel and Championship semis with Val. Not only explains why we’re ‘Wembleyed’ out, but why some of our younger fans seem so entitled.
