I soooooooo hope

I loved Rooney as a player but did have reservations about him becoming a successful manager.

It’s a classic great player must mean great manager (see John Hendrie) appointment.

I don’t like Derby and would savour their relegation after our 2018 relegation game and all their gloating and goading.

How times change.

And I do think Rotherham will do it just to sweeten the drop pot that bit more.

But the press love these big name players as managers. It makes me smile every time the media calls It that Lampard did a great job at Derby. He joined in sixth I think and left them in sixth I recall after using players the likes of Mount et al too
