    We weren't ready to sign anyone until we shifted some wages. I've tried to use small words to make it easy to understand.

    Don't be acting the clever ****. It doesn't suit you. However, if that's how we all want to behave then I will say that you can use any word in your vocabulary and I will guarantee I will not have trouble understanding it. I still won't agree with you. Up to you.
