Great observation. </p> "it interesting how the people who backed davey are now saying look we were right by using a short spell of games to prove there point when anti davey posts were dismissed by some saying you cant judge on just a few games."</p>
simply put some fans will not give SD any credit others are fed up of us changing our manager every season. Personally I was not massively happy when we appointed SD but I think the club as a whole are moving in the right direction, especially if we can keep up our form! Big plus at the minute is Jon Macken finding some form!
Yes the same one thats scored 4 goals in about 50 games for us.... YES 4 Goals , but hey ho lets only remember the one of the very few times he managed to get on the score sheet. How many matches has he scored in for us, 3 is it?
But you hit the nail on the head People who said give Davey time were saying you can't judge him on the first 7 games, or the last 7 games but on the season as a whole. Fair enough if we hadn't won a game by Chrsitmas but a season last 46 games. Judging Davey on each full season he has done well. If you try and event an imaginary season of January to October he didn't do well. Luckily for us thats not how football works. The only reason i have faith in Davey is because every season we have stayed up with an increasing number of points and took us to Wembley by beating Liverpool and Chelsea - those are the facts. The other stuff (are we better player for player, should he play Macken, was a Moore a good signing, does KO add anything, is Davey arrogant) are opinions. To be honest Davey can fall out with who he wants, and manage in any way he sees fit (just as Clough and Ferguson do and did do from day one before anyone says they won the right to be like that) for me so long as he is trying to play passing football at home and we do well over a whole season
