    I believe so based on the fact that we were committed to those contracts prior to relegation so we cannot amend or cancel them unless we have built in clauses to that effect.

    So if Birmingham had gone down the guy on £60k would be exempt? FFP gets it wrong again.

    Conversely you could end up with say 8 or 9 contracted players like us but already be over the salary cap without being able to terminate those contracts or field a team. By the very nature of modern football most contracts are 2/3 years and will already be nearly done by relegation time. I think we only have 2 players with more than a year to go in Jennings and Nyatanga.

    Good post......BFC playing in Div One should mean we get back to winning ways and create a feel good factor that has sadly been missing for a number of years.

    As much as DW has made a few mistakes, he needs time to re-build.
