No need to apologise Kanecat, I apologise that my (as usual) badly worded post caused offence. I was actually referring to the plaques of old players (i believe one of the lads from the munich disaster has a plaque) rather than to ones that have been placed by individuals, I didn't even know the club allowed you to do that.

Out of interest where abouts is this plaque? I wouldn't mind taking a look in the future

Those plaques are in no way tacky to me.

Stick to what you know best - gay rights campaigning

Think it would be easily to put some walls around the bar area, with doors. Carpet the inside area and furnish (similar to that old pub they used to have inside East Mids Airport). Like you say, piece of piss, l'm going down to see Don with my screwdriver and hammer.

Don's leaving soon so i'll let him know your farewell card's on the way. I'll get in touch with Lockeparke Tyke, he can sort the window, he's great with putty!

There is a plaque for Tommy Taylor behind the Ponty End. All the brass plaques on the wall on the eaststand lower are of fans of the club. The club normally put the plaques on the wall but my partners friends insisted on putting his up. You will find the plaques on the back wall of the Eaststand near the bar area at the north stand end

    He's leaving soon?

Is that just something you made up to make me smile or do you know something we don't?

As daft as your comment about lockeparktyke may be I've often wondered why the skills of reds fans aren't used to their full potential. A few free season tickets and i'm sure somebody would plaster the east concourse for the cost of materials only.

I'll be sure to have a look at the next home game then. I must have imagined there being one for a player under the east stand, it wouldn't be the first time i've got something wrong would it.

A completely random question for you now, are you originally from Leeds? (the sun article about your cat mentioned you living there previously I think)

I haven't seen a plaque for a player under the Eaststand but i could be wrong as i am prone to walking round with my eyes shut!!

No i'm not from Leeds. I'm Crofton (Wakefield) born and bred. I now live in Barnsley. I did live in Birstall for a while which is near Leeds and i then moved to Barnsley. That is when my cat went missing. He ran away from Barnsley and turned up 4 months later at my old house in Birstall. I think the rough cats of Barnsley sent him packing!

Thats ok then, I was just checking you weren't an outsider :D What I never understood was if your cat was living with a neighbour why hadn't that neighbour attempted to contact you about it?

The lady who i used to live nextdoor to, contacted me as she thought she's seen him at an house at the back of mine. I drove straight through and it was my cat, got the shock of my life as i wasn't expecting to see him again. The people who lived in my old house had put a new back door on with no cat flap on so i think he'd gone to the nearest house with a catflap on.

No i am not an outsider!! I am from Crofton and the nearest team to support is Barnsley, although the majority at my school supported Leeds (puke) (puke) & as it was the 80's plenty of bandwagon jumpers supported Liverpool.
