I thought Hill was Flicker's best mate?

Nothing surprising about this in the slightest.

These are players that played at championship level. They may not have done a very good job but they'd all been decent at league 1 and league 2 level in the past. After managing us Hill and Flicker dropped down to league 1/2 level so is it surprising they're signing league 1/2 level players? Of course not, particularly when they're players they know and who may need less convincing to join.

For some reason, some people can't just let go of the past. We've had far worse and far better managers than the both of them and we had good and bad times under the both of them too. I couldn't care less who they sign or the reasoning behind it.

18 league goals, 9 assists and a 500k move in Jan is a lot better than average.

Thought he went for a £million?

Not that I rate him. He's had one good season. Maybe he's found his position and that's the reason he's struggled to hold down a place in any team previously. Time will tell.

It could rise to that maybe with more goals / promotion for Sheff Utd but we only got 500k initially. Still great for us for a player who we've now signed twice for nowt and sold for good money considering he's 5hite.

Mm, signing the same players over and over again. I wonder why that might be... Perhaps players they can 'trust' so to speak. Players that will 'do the business' for them out on the pitch. If you get my drift.
