as unpleasant on the eye as griffin and his party are i find myself agreeing with everything he says - the ones i find most offensive are the soppy liberal lefties who think all these idle eastern european layabouts are making such a positive contribution to the country - we have enough of our own scroungers without inviting more.

especially the 25% of the resident population are of foreign origin/parentage

in the 2001 census 92.1% were white British with a further 1.2% white Irish. You are not telling me that in 8 years the resident population of other ethnicities has gone up from less than 7% to over 20%???

Do you know many idle eastern european layabouts?

All the ones I have met have been here to earn some money before returning home becasue wages are better here and they are generally prepared to do jobs we have difficulty filling.

I've never met an eastern european on state benefits

they make up their own figures......

On QT the other night Griffin used various figures to back up his arguments, when challenged as to where he got his figures, he couldn't remember. He claimed an opinion poll said that 80% of the populace supported the BNPs immigration stance, but couldn't remember who'd said so, he "read it somewhere." Probably on here.

    RE: Wouldnt it be ironic

That is so true Fitzy. It's a myth that the country is full of foriegners on benefits. They are here doing all the jobs the idle white youth don't want.

    No

All EU countries have agreed quotas on the number of asylum seekers they take. You can't have them all staying in the first country because otherwise that creates too large a burden on the border countries

when i was bus driving for a living, i used to do the school run in Bradford and both whites and Pakistani kids ( cant say british cos there were poles etc as well ) were always falling out, fighting and arguing who sat upstairs or down stairs, the Pakistani kids out numbered the white kids three to one, so to defuse the situation and to avoid been called a racist, i came up with a solution whereby, when they all got on my bus they knew straight away that I no longer recognized 2 different colours amongst them, but instead i would refer to them all as green....that way the light greens went up stairs and the dark greens went down stairs.....end of problem

but how do they end up here?

If it was due to the quotas then they'd be sent here via offiicial channels and they aren't, theyre finding their own way here. Europe as a whole needs to rethink its policies for me and come up with a system where as soon as an asylum seeker enters europe they are sent to a detention camp of some sort (a human setup obviously) at one of the border countries and their case should be looked at immediatly, if they're turned down they are sent out of europe, if they are accepted then they are sent to any of the countries based upon their circumstances/quotas etc.

I also think that EVERY asylum seeker should be fingerprinted if they are turned down for asylum, that way they can be turned away if they turn up again trying to claim again with a different name as i'm sure happens regularly.

Rules on asylum and illegal immigration do need an overall but the BNPs solutions to the problem are ridiculous.

what is it with this immigration malarky?

It's ok for brits to emigrate to a better life...Spain/Portugal/USA/Australia....yes?

So why shouldn't people from other cultures want to come here?

The right wing are all for free markets are they not? - whats so wrong with a free labour market then? - explain that then BNP..... where would our NHS service be for example...we've taken in medical professionals from other countries just like the USA/Australia have taken some of our medics.....it's supply & demand

the world is a much smaller place these days thanks to better/easier transport...

It (Immigration) will happen has happened and will continue to happen.....

People have followed work just like people have followed weather (for subsistence/agriculture) its a matter of fact

Just like the fact that the human race originated from Africa................

Oh by the way I could have quoted some stats to back this up.....and quoted their source ....... alternatively i could just go around scaremongering......

And just to close.... when you wanna go out for a meal where to you go Curry?/Pasta?/Burger?/Chinese?......which of these is indigenous to the UK?

    Exactly.....

    Rant over

i have no problem with anyone who comes here to work. i have problems with our own army of scroungers, and i have a problem with foreign scroungers; and if you think that there aren't any foreign scroungers you are deluded.
