The blame lies with the board. I do have sympathy for Schopp. He hasn't been given the equipment to do the job and looks very isolated in a foreign land with no trusted allies alongside him.

That doesn't detract from the fact he's clearly failing and possibly out of his depth. A few times players looked like they were dissenting if not fully arguing with him and it looks like they just aren't playing for him.

I fear the well of Austrian geniuses may have ran dry. Let's go back to basics a la Val with a British-based coach and assistants who know the league and won't throw up visa issues.

Agree, everyone on here's entitled to their opinion. Interestingly up to a couple of weeks ago I said give him 23 league games to show what he can do. However the decline has been that quick that I think he needs to go now.

We’ve folded after conceding far too often this season. Luckily Collins has bailed us out a fair few times but there’s only so much he can do.

Anyone. Devaney, Pilkington, one of the program sellers. Just as long as it’s not Schopp.

    Let's look in Moldova.

One unheard of team managed to turn over Real Madrid last night...

    Yes, it's a joke.

Seeing as they are a gangster's money laundering vehicle, I suspect we'd struggle to compete on wages! On the upside they play in possibly the most awful in the whole of Europe, so upon seeing Monk Bretton their players would probably be clamouring to sign for us (once they get knocked out of the Champions League!)

I think tonight was a new nadir, I mean Forest were really average and tried to give us chances by giving the ball away and we could barely muster a single shot on goal. I really can’t see any improvement coming, that front 3 are not firing on any cylinders and the midfield looks woeful without Benson. Lose to Millwall and it’s Gute Nacht.

Maybe we could just swap him for the manager of one of our sidled clubs. Surly they can’t do any worse :D

Im not a "sack the coach" bloke and i do look for the positives in every performance. Tonight Helik was ok, collins was good.....thats it.
    The coach ...so far....
1.As far as i can see does not have a style, formation, that suits.
    2.Does not know the players.
    3. Seems tactically inept.
    4. Makes poor sub choices or at the wrong time.
We had one shot in the first half...one....a penalty!! Against a team a team who looked low on confidence. However the warning signs were there. We were lucky to be one up at half time...but we needed changes, as to any blind man we were being ripped a new one tactically, yet again our Brad Collins is our mom.....oh dear.
How does Gomez not start every game?...maybe hes injured or fatigued....i don t know but i do know he has to start. Our defence looks like a swiss cheese...our midfield toothless and a powder puff strike force.
We need solidity and from our next game...pick a team that is solid and diffecult to break down, play less pretty...we can only do that with pretty triangles around the opposition box with no end product...so dont.
I think we maybe at a phase (without our missing players) to set up teams not to lose.

Agree with this, the worst thing for me was Britain looking to be having words with him after forests 2nd. Once the dressing room is lost than he's no chance of turning it round. I'd get shut ASAP.

i agree and think that its too early to sack a coach which makes it even more sad how many think that this early in, its still only thing to do. It should never have come to this.

I'd even give Karl Pilkington a go, if Ricky is OK with it.

That back four wouldn't work because it's ancient and wouldn't send the right message to the yuppies.

Forest could have scored at least 3 in the first half if they'd been clinical, we weren't fine we were lucky we got a soft penalty and apart from that looked clueless up front, most of the time we had three players out wide passing it between themselves until they lost possession and nobody in the box.
