    So you'd screw over the large number of people who need help and want to help themselves but aren't in a fit state to do so or don't have the money (despite working hard), just for the sake of spiting a few scroungers? Seems reasonable.

    Our lass was taken seriously ill in Berlin earlier this year. I showed her EHIC card straight away. A month after we got home we received a bill of €3500 for emergency care......then another of €500 for the ambulance....then another for€10 a day x 14 for her hospital stay. Luckily we were insured and they sorted it.

    Long live the NHS !!!
