Agreed, although only in the Carling Cup and against a reserve side we struggled to 20,000 against Man U with the away end sold out a few year ago. They'd only send a reserve side again.
They already do it, pal. You buy a ticket online securely using your credit or debit card, and it's added to your season card automatically. You rock up at the ground with said season card and you can get in. The fact that you have bought the ticket I stored, and thus they have a nice easy way to see who bought a ticket for what game. It's the way the world works in afraid, pal. You're gonna had to get used to buying online at some point or you'll never be able to buy anything.
I'd love to see what would happen if someone turned up at an airport and asked to buy a ticket there and then. I would guess it would be 3 or 4 times the online price booked in advance. Once went in Currys to choose a washing machine, found one, googled it, same model available online £150 cheaper, with free delivery. Guess where I bought it from? Like it or not it's the way forward, anyone refusing to buy online is wasting an awful lot of money.
