RE: just remember agreed. We had enough chances to win comfortably. Point is we aren't doing too badly however if we don't win soon it could be a hard season. Still the top local club though and the Prem is the place to be, don't suppose you'll ever find out unfortunately
RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge well done statto . It was 1981-2 and Pancake were in div 2. Seeing as you've checked is that the only time we've been 2 divs apart ?
Ooh, blimey!! Don't go there, Dirk! The "Kev's wages" thread once strode this board like a mighty collossus. Three grand a week or summat, weren't it K? How we all laughed.
RE: Ooh, blimey!! Don't go there, Dirk! £20k pa was the legend, and he looked after several staff. I bet they were delighted.</p> That and the Kung Fu. </p> Which the licker now denies, naturally.</p>
RE: Let's play Dem Blades at home in 1999 when 'Inchy' heath was in charge didn't need to check mate and I don't know for sure but I think you were in the 3rd for a season at the end of the 80s (87/88?) and they were in the 1st. I also know that in 82/83 we knocked you out of the league cup at the lane when you were a 3rd div side and we were 2nd div. Who'd have thought it 'ickle' Barnsley in a division higher than the 'mighty' blades. Oh but it has happened since as well !!!! Oh and 2 divisions in 81/82 !!!!!
