    RE: By everyone he's meaning

I know what you're saying but there's many who are not in the position of being able to get there early, if at all in normal office hours. They've been penalised for BFC's policy.

No, what was required was that the season ticket holder was there in person, he said that he went home and left someone else in the queue. ie he wasnt there in person

my point is that their is nobody else to blame except the club. They published rules that said you had to be there in person and this is the sole reason that I didn't send anyone for a ticket on monday. I knew that if you had to be there in person then there would have been plenty of tickets left on tuesday (because lots of people couldnt go on monday) so I HAD made arrangements based around the information given out by barnsley fc.

Barnsley then without any notice (and without any announcement at all) decided not to use their own rules and allowed anyone to go on your behalf and even allowed people to take 10 season tickets. This meant that there most certainly would not be tickets available on tuesday.

By publishing one rule yet applying another the club has penalised everyone that followed their own instructions and rewarded those that ignored it. You said that people should have been more savvy but how could they be when barnsley was giving out false information? The only way to have been more savvy would have been to somehow know that the rules were not going to be followed and nobody could have known that.

    Your arrogance is outstanding

So people should be expected to queue for up to 10 hours for a ticket, getting there well before they open? Forgive me but I thought we lived in the 21st century.
How do you know what peoples circumstances are for that not being feasible, my dad is in hospital having suffered a stroke for example, do you really think I could afford to queue up for that length of time? As it happens I didn't want a ticket, but what if I had?

That's the whole point. I got there at 6.45 and had my tickets by 9.45. And arrogance? That's rich coming from you!

I think you are missing the point somewhat

About why some people may not be able to queue up for hours, and the fact that in the 21st century there are other methods of selling tickets.

But none of these '21st Century' methods were available, so we had to work around the systems/policy that were in place. I'm sorry to hear about your father and you haven't been one of those grumbling - for obvious reasons. The vast majority who are in their elements moaning on here, won't have had the same problems to contend with.

no but the vast majority on here saw that you had to be there in person

are you saying that it is for example my fault that I believed the rules given out by the club?
