i think the big mistake was actually "sleeping" there, it'll probably be years before that spot has fallen, the idiocy comes as already been posted earlier,
its 20 years since i last went camping and i wouldn't have pitched 100 yards away from that spot, you wake up in the night, pitch black wanting a pickle, half asleep and who knows which way to walk?
covid restrictions are neither here nor there in this case, yes they shouldn't have been there in the 1st place but they were safer there in regards to covid than in a park full of folk having picnics, of both were 1 sandwich short
