    I would love to join the walk, but have dodgy ankles so don't think I can do it

    Nice easy downhill route for those wondering. Abit uphill around Silkstone/Penistone but then it's flat around Birds Edge and Inbirchworth. Past the Sovereign in Shepley downhill/flat all the way to the match through Shelley, Kirkburton, Fenay Bridge and Moldgreen. You don't even have to go as far as Moldgreen but that's a main road route so more people would see. You could stop at Dalton and take a short cut through there which will take you down the hill at the back of the Odeon cinema.
