A mate of mine was up at the Living Well Gym a year or so ago. As an ex-miner he isn't the sensitive sort.

I will just say I agree with you that Rick Holden is a bit of a chracter.</p>

 

No-ones got the job yet. It's a bit complicated at Bradford.

They have a very laudable idea to sell 10,000 season tickets at a discounted price of &pound;138. So far they have about 6,200 pledges. Thjey have extended it to the end of the season in the hope of getting it to 10,000. To do this they are dangling the possibility of a cult hero returning to save them, one Staurt McCall. Therefore they aren't making a decision until the end of the season to see if they can reach the 10,000 mark as McCall contract with Colin is up in the summer. Personally I can't see McCall returning if Colin offers him a new contract as I can't see Bradford anywhere near matching McCall's current wage. Depends whether McCall wants to go it alone I suppose.</p>

I certainly didn't want Davey to get the job, nor did I want Ritchie to go to be honest. However, if Davey turns out to be able to do what was required of him, there is no way we can get rid of him after that. He will have earned his chance as a proper manager and I just can't see how anyone can see different, if he keeps us up.

 

After the supporters meeting in January a number of people whop attended including me came on here and said we should give him time and get behind him to support the reds. That time is still ongoing. If he does succeed and keep us up then I believe he has succeeded and fully deserves our support. There are good and bad games, but i for one now believe we can stay in this division. That will for me equal promotion last year and will be part two of the building process to hopefully put us where we really belong as a mid table championship team. Too many reds fans think we should be winning every game. Well get into real life. Consistent Championship football is what we are lets hope we stay there.

To be fair to Davey he organised the cones for the pre- match warm up ,masterfully.we must have had 200 cones put down on the pitch....Plymouth had 0, I bet they have cones out on Saturday !!!...........

I dont want the guy as manager but if he keeps us up I will give him my full backing for as long as he is in the hot seat.
