Anyone who stands to commemerate the fallen republican soldiers at a Wolfe Tone gathering is a supporter or and sympathiser of that organisations plight. Im off to play with my freinds Hamas.
Well I have been in gay bars on canal street on more than one occasion. I hadn't realised before that made me homosexual. I think the wife will be disappointed but hey ho. I'm a bit confused though, because last year I went to Crete so I must be Greek. But the year before I went to turkey. Turkish and Greek. And southern of course, had a weekend in London last week. Or - just putting this out there - people like Jeremy Corbyn, and in a more high profile way at the time Mo Mowlam, chose to sit and discuss rather than condemn, chose to chase a peaceful future together over avengence. There has been no ira bombing in how long? Perhaps if we elect JC, instead of bombing the **** out of Syria and winding up folk with extremist views, we might be able to sort out a future where our kids don't get blown up going to concerts. Just a thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yesterday wasn't a day for politics. I would point out that none of this terrorism would be happening if we hadn't invaded Iraq, under Tony Blair. JC was opposed to the war & TM in favour. Just saying like. Use of violence comes back to haunt us & it is the innocents who suffer.
It is a negative feedback loop. We invade somewhere, bomb somewhere, or sell weapons that are used to bomb somewhere, and individuals come back and bomb us, or drive cars at us, or crash planes into us, so we then invade or bomb somewhere. I'm utterly convinced that revenge is not the way forward, neither is a blanket kicking out of all people of one religion or other (as some loud voices are suggesting). Talking to the various factions might not do any good, but we at least need to try it because too many innocent people on all sides are dying for no good reason.
