oh dear bfchris...... if you don't want your 12 year old to hear swearing....why take her to a football match? what did you expect?

i took my 6 year old son to the game too....and told him if he heard any 'naughty' words, he must never repeat them...... at 12 i would have thought your daughter would have heard em all by now anyway.

they will hear em, use em and all the rest of it..... kids grow up...i agree it is unsavoury but what do you expect....everyone to sit there as if they are at the cinema?....get real...you are being rather naive....alternatively as i say don't take the bin lids to the matches.

chanting about his dead son is however clearly unacceptable......... and anyone who thinks otherwise needs professional help.

    hope this helps ffs

From the first whistle he got stick from us, and I turned to my dad and said "if they score in front of us, we're gonna get it back big time". Sure enough, he sets the goal up and winds the away fans up. Big deal. We started it. I laughed when he pretended to eat the net, and I laughed when he started showing his muscles after setting the goal up. Take it on the chin ffs.

My missus and her old man support Wednesday and Sharp scored the winner for Donny at Hillsborough a few years back after her old man had abused him all the way through the game. His celebration was to stand directly in front of the father-in-law (they sit on the very first row) and eyeball him with a big grin on his face. He stood there so long the referee had to come and move him back towards the centre circle to restart the game again. Our lass and her dad still laugh about it now. If our fans can't take a bit of stick, it's about time we stopped calling him a "fat Sheffield reject".

Football fans are so fragile, they give out loads of stick sometimes overthe top abuse, sometimes vile{remember Beckham gettein it at Oakwell}, but as soon as a player gives it back they start crying and threatening to report them...time some fans grew up...although some never will.

he was giving a bit of pillock back. If you're going to burst into tears over that then I suggest you just stop indoors the rest of your life.
