    Hey Darf, I used to think the same as well about Gary Neville, as an annoying mouthy tv ManUre pundit.
    But I'm liking him more and more these days, when it comes to the England matches. ;)

    That's what 'leaving a foot in' means....you leave your studs where the player kicking the actual foot ball will contact them on the way through.
    Although I don't think the Dutch player intended to hurt Kane, particularly in the area, its one of the nastiest fouls in the game and would normally get you sent off.

    Exceptionally harsh on Neville. He is absolutely not at all like Barton for a start - and his words in this tournament have been very honest and candid about the England teams he played in being failures and lacking the mentality that the current crop do - including the team he was assistant manager of. I think he’s been pretty fair.
