I was going to post the exact same reply. She's a awful politician, hopefully people will see through the Yummy mummy act.
The simple fact is Lib Dems, Greens, Plaid Cymru and SNP are the only parties who are against Brexit. I'm unable to vote for the SNP or Plaid Cymru, so that only leaves me able to vote for Green or Lib Dems.
If Boris calls a GE he *could* become the first sitting Prime Minister to lose his seat as an MP. His majority fell by over half between 2015 and 2017 (his vote was relatively static), but recent polls show increasing support for Remain in Uxbridge, and is now well over 50%.
Both sides of the house fill me with dread at the minute. There isn't an electable party between them.
What made me smile was him talking about family values. Of course he's been an absolute role model in that department hasn't he.?
Agreed, but even that will 'run aground', as whatever reworking of the current deal he secures, it won't resolve the backstop issue to the satisfaction of the DUP, who will pull their support in the House leaving the govt unable to function.
Also worth noting the coming by election in Brecon. Polling suggesting a likely Lib Dem win from Con. That would leave a working majority of just 2 following the suspension of Elphicke (including DUP backing).
Yep, but as May found it's not the Person who's in front of the camera it's the power behind the throne, many of the old Libs ant fgot the experience of Clegg being humiliated by the Tories....like the idea of Kier taking ova tho.. Boris is about to find out what he says to be popular isn't gonna become reality. IE no deal Brexit
The gates of hell are poised to open. Jacob and his Nanny will be running the ministry for foreign registration. All the old racist tropes will be out in force. It'll be like a rerun of a 1970s episode of the comedians. I'm expecting Vera Lynn to be number 1 at Christmas. All in order to keep our national identity. Spam spam spam spam spam! Keep ya pecker up and carry on! Boris' mantra for life. Filled a few prams using this, some extramaritally.
PS I'm expecting "World In Motion", version 2, with John Barnes' rap replaced by a diatribe from Katie Hopkins.
You are right the Conservative party would not win out right and neither would Labour, So be careful what you wish for a coalition between Labour and the Scottish national Party or a Conservative and Brexit party coalition
