Sky History have had some real garbage on over the last few years. The one about North American Giants, the one about Tesla and lost WW2 gold ones. I did enjoy the Hunting Hitler series though, if it wasn't for the need to end every episode on a cliffhanger and spend the first quarter of every episode refreshing our memories about the previous one.
The Hunting Hitler is/was fascinating. It is so plausible that you can't get it out of your head that it might actually be true. The one fact in this is that there was never any proof that the body found outside the bunker was actually Hitler's. The photos taken and the medical evidence are convincingly against it being Hitler and then the fact that the body was spirited away to Russia never to be seen again by the western powers does make you wonder what happened. If he did get away to South America then it's still a brilliant mystery story, no matter what he did during his lifetime.
I wish I’d known governments had gotten round the FOI act. I’d have saved myself loads of stress and hundreds of hrs work. Maybe someone needs to tell our government that they have got round it
South America is certainly more plausible than the idea that he escaped to Antarctica and has a underground lair there. Or on the moon.
No, I avoid any "Curse of ..." programmes, except Oak Island and this Skinwalker. Oak Island is part of my life, I can't live without it. I've been watching it for the last 50 years and all they've found is a lead cross and some wood. Most of the programmes now are taken up with revisiting things they found many series ago. Who is funding this programme anyway? Anyway can't wait for the next series .... more wood and nails ... and that flippin' lead cross !!
