We have also been a second tier side for most of my supporting life so of course I hope that we can return to this as a minimum point. At the same time I appreciate that the landscape has changed. The impact of the Premiershit and the debt levels of most of the Championship was bound to catch up with our archetypical small town club. I also see a club that has lost it's identity that needs to regroup and adjust to the new world order and find a new way forwards line we did in the late 70s. I just understand this may take longer than a season. We are now quire clues to where I realistically thought we would be (I expected us to have 40 points by this stage). There's a difference between having expectations and having a hissy fit if those expectations are not realised immediately.

5 home wins on the trot would equal a club record. With lots of winnable games coming up. Depends how you look at things doesn't it?

 

It's not, no. But then I don't see anyone suggesting it's been anything better than **** this season. But facts are facts and we could still make the playoffs, and I think we will do.
