Kinell fire. You are like a disgruntled affro headed washerwoman. Do you have an 'off' button? You big gay witch bear dole-walling homoflair spacky-backed affro washerwoman loser.
RE: Over a season i do agree with you. Ive heard many people say they might go if it was cheaper, i myself have begrudged paying match by match hight prices when i can get. i have now purchased a half season ticket even though i wont be able to make every match. i just thought what the hell. might work out cheaper might not, i dont care makes it easy for me to get my play off final ticket!!
average attendances 2000/2001 - 14465 2001/2002 - 13322 2002/2003 - 9757 2003/2004 - 9619 2004/2005 - 10053 2005/2006 - 8755 (up to 11/12/05) Like Jay said, 2004/05 went up cos of prob sheff wed. The fact is, we have been on a steady decline since the prem, except for this year, so attendances have bound to be affected. Remember the season we went up and the season before that, low attendances, and when we were doing well they went up. Prem, full house nearly every game. Fact is, whereever we are will determine the attendance, not the price. I didn't see anyone moaning at all about the price of the tickets at wembley, the travel costs etc. When the team is doing well, people will turn out irrespective of the cost. (unless its somehting totally rediculous). The fact that we haven't managed to egt back into championship, could explain the continued drop in attendances. I will give it till march, and if we are in a position to really challenge, trust me the part timers will return. Jay, your points are excellent, and I agree, although the price as a bearing, it's one that doesn't explain the attendance drop, as there are many more to consider...
I thought your point was That the club could charge as much as they like and they'd still get the same attendances. I suggest £600 per game for next season.
RE: average attendances the only difference being, one of you states lowering prices, and the other states higher prices. But neither will have an effect to me. see original post above
RE: NEZB IT WAS ME WHICH USED THE SHEFF W FACTOR AS BEING A POSSIBLE EXPLANATION, NO MORE NO LESS. You are right when you say it depends on success. If we are 4th / 5th in April I reckon crowds of 14k +
RE: NEZB (lol) sorry Guest, I misunderstood what you meant, OK accepted the SWED thing. I was mainly trying to back up Jay as he had a real hard time pointing things out earlier, as many people were blaming it purely on price..
What I would like to see ... Is something that I think that Norwich did a few seasons ago (or was it someone else, anyway, I'm sure I'll be corrected on it). A few weeks/months before the end of the season, when it seemed that promotion was likely the club announced that anyone renewing their season ticket before the end of the current season would get their ticket at this seasons price, regardless of promotion or otherwise.
RE: What I would like to see ... They ought to do that anyway, but good call. Gets dosh in early doors.
I agree. And they should throw in free, unprotected, promiscuous, fully penetrative sexual intercourse with the fittest bird in the BFC offices ... who looks like Les Dawson, but I still would. To generate more cash I think our Chairman should burn down the West Stand. Come on Gord, take a stint in Doncatraz for the Super Reds.
