RE: Why? Yeah, well I guess everyone's just joking about the Man Utd thing... Anyway, I still can't understand why you would stop supporting the team if we got relegated. There are some big teams at the bottom end of the table with us who are also battling against relegation. Yes, we're playing sh*t at the moment, but it doesn't mean that things can't change. It's been great to be a Barnsley supporter during the last few years. There have been so many ups and downs. So if we get relegated this season and then get to the playoff final next season, you still wouldn't go? (yes, I know that you said you won't go to Oakwell, but I assume that you meant any Barnsley match...)
RE: Why? if i stopped going i would stop full stop. No wembley etc nothing football is nothing like it used to be and i sometimes have to drag myself out of the boozer to attend knowing what i will be given. the club needs a shakeup and fast, I have seen managers come and go and in all fairness the club have not done enough to get a proven manager in a long time. time to stop letting unproven managers spend money on useless players and pay a proper manager to do a good job.
hang on right there who said i was judging you? im just saying why do you bother coming now if your not going to come if we get religated? If we get religated the club needs fans more than ever.. TRUE LOYAL fans not poor excuses for them. If you been coming 20 years you will remember last time we were in league 1.... 4 years ago? christ i have mind block anyway we got out of it didnt we? it took a couple of years.. but we go out. true fans stuck by them and we pulled through why bail out over relegation
Ok Andy, your choice of a replacement would be ? ...and someone we could really have a chance of getting.

Tough one ..... Billy Davis knows the division. He's served his apprecticeship.
Stu McCall or Mark Robins if we went bargain basement.

RE: Why? 1) Can we afford to pay a "proper manager" though? But even if we had loads of money to spend... (see question 2) 2) ... would any "proper manager" be interested in the job?
whats the point you obviously dont support the team or enjoy watching the football.... whats the point of wasting petrol money to get there?
RE: Why? Got to agree with you there about the managerial situation. All our problems now are caused with the mess the club has made in the past - managers coming and going every 2 minutes. Maybe this puts off other managers we have approached in the past to take on the job and that is how we ended up with the turkey that is SD
At the end of the day this manager picked and paid for the players we have. Therefore he is the one who has to answer when some of the players turn out to be deadwood
yes i can see where you are coming from there... i just dont know how much more chopping and changes we can deal with manager wise :/
It's some of the chopping and changing in the past that was unecessary. We definately need a change now or we will go down and i don't think we will come back up as easily as we did last time. That's my humble opinion anyway
