Utter... utter rubbish. The vote was if we wanted to join the European common market... A totally different entity. And if you think that this country would have voted to be Ruled by unelected forigen bureacrats 1975, then you must live in cuckco land..

So May's deal is exactly what you and 17m others voted for is it? Every word in the 500+ legal text of withdrawal is precisely what you voted for?

Of course it isn't. The simple fact in business, if a board voted narrowly for something, they would test the theory and go into greater detail. Lay some of the foundations and then ensure that the way forward was correct by gaining a final consensus. That would be fair and democratic and be working for the benefit of shareholders.

could you imagine the fallout in business if this happened and a business closed off whole markets, increased costs, lost suppliers and decreased returns, if not put the future of that business in jeopardy?

The only reason you may not want to hold a referendum to ratify Mays deal is fear of losing what was acquired on fraudulent grounds in the first place. The country is divided whatever happens. The only way it will heal is forgetting about it in 2 generations. Thatcher. Barnsley. Miners. Hows that going for some people? Healed yet?

It wasn’t we were already in , the vote in 1975 was to stay in not join , two years to see what it was like and the country voted overwhelmingly to stop in . Two years after a vote to leave we know more about what it’s looking like if we come out , time for another vote

The level of ignorance about how the EU actually works is staggering. More than anything else it shows why Joe Public should never have been given the vote.

Your point of view there is so flawed its unreal.

'You assume people have changed their minds but I really don’t think they have.'

Pretty sure a second referendum would help sort that one out.

'All a second referendum or block on Brexit would bring is riots and anarchy, possibly ripping the country apart for years to come and it would make us look undemocratic'

If they haven't changed their minds (as stated above) then why would a second referendum block Brexit and create all these riots and anarchy? If the people haven't changed their minds, then leave wins the vote again. Are you telling me all the original leave voters are now losing their sh*t because they won again?

'If indeed a second referendum comes to fruition then it should only have two options on the ballot paper those being Theresa May’s deal or no deal at all'

So we shouldn't have a second referendum, but if we do it should only include Theresa May's deal that everyone agrees is an awful deal or a No deal that experts (and the current government) have said will leave us economically worse off. It shouldn't include something that 16 million people backed 2 years ago. Sounds really democratic that.

'that way it appeases both sides'

Please explain how Theresa Mays deal or No deal appeases the 16 million+ people who voted remain?

I was just giving a pointless question a pointless reply. Looks like you decided to follow the trend.

Is there a slight irony in being mocked by Germany about how to behave as a country?

Or has too much time passed since their mid 20th century atrocities?

Perhaps the last of those who fought against Nazism are now gone.

And now it's time to get the piss taken out of us.

Whilst I am in favour of leaving the EU, this kind of stuff is actually great...not necessarily from a comedy point of view, that's purely subjective...but one of the great strengths of British people is that no-one gets upset at a p**s take...in this case we are not being mocked by Germany as such, Germans like us are now free to do and say pretty much as they like, and this is the sketch of one comedian...no more no less.
For anyone wanting to see the best comedian in British comedy ( in my opinion) at the moment, google Henning Wehn, the German comedy Ambassador....this guy rips the p**s out of us, but he's bl**dy funny.
