All I can think of is David Bowie working at the Mermaid.

If he went to an average championship club I'd be very disappointed.
The player's ambition would be no greater than if he stayed with us. The only way he'd justify it to himself and to us is for bigger money.

the board have stated they will only sell players in the last year of their contract if they will not extend. Moore has two years to go, he may have a release clause though.

As much as I like Moore if he goes for good money and is replaced with a player like Koné (who could potentially go for really good money further down the line) then we can’t really complain.

Think in the next 2-3 years we can see players coming in for 1-5 million and getting sold on for 5-15 million, which would be a decent expansion of the original ‘The Plan 1.0’

OR it could be as suggested by someone in here That Stendel reckons he can get a player more suited to the way he wants to play to replace Moore. You never know really until the man himself tells us.

If we sell Moore it'll be because we get an unbelievable offer for him or he gets an unbelievable offer and he requests a transfer.

Given he has two years left, if Moore is sold it is because we want to sell and replace him.

He’s a great player, but there are doubts that he can do it at second tier level, his height and physicality aren’t necessarily perfectly suited to Stendel’s system and so if they choose to shuffle the pack, to be honest I get it. Especially if Koné comes in for £3million.

I’d be more disappointed if he goes and they bring in Eaves for example, as if we want and need a big lad up top there’s no better bet than Kieffer.

I think and hope Kieffer Moore’s future will be based on Stendel’s desires for his squad as opposed to the reasons for the sales of the centre backs.

I don't agree. They've said they will actively attempt to sell a player in the summer of the final year of their contract if that player refuses to sign an extension to his contract.

They haven't said anything about not selling other players. They won't be actively trying to move them on but that doesn't mean they won't accept bids.

How many players do we have to sell before DS gets fed up and goes?

Like I say, we don’t know that DS wants to keep Kieffer. He might prefer to reinvest on a different player.

This is a interesting thread and has some good comments. The difficulty I have is that there is no credible source(s) attached or attributed . Where is the idea that K. Moore is going to be sold? Where is the evidence we want to buy C. Chaplin? I know it's the silly season for transfers but we know poster's in threads can get a bit heated. Let's stay calm and wait and see.

Just had a moment imagining McBurnie, Woodrow and Kone, as our front 3. Well.on with the rest of the day.

I saw Kieffer at a Clash tribute concert. They sang 'Should I stay or should I go" and he walked out cos he was sick of being asked. Then they played 'London Calling' and he walked back in with a Brentford shirt on. They closed with 'Train in Vain' so he had a kickabout but didn't get a game.
