Disagree. Ticket allocation has always been based on current season membership, as far as I remember. Next season is next season.

Is your suggestion that ST holders shouldn't have any priority, or that the Club shouldn't start getting too forensic by looking at additional things, like loyalty points, or the subtle difference between reserved and reserved+?

If it's the latter I would tend to agree. Feels complicated, and under the circumstances possibly creates more problems than it solves.

If you're suggesting ST holders shouldn't get priority, I would have to disagree. I don't see how the Club can look beyond prioritising this year's ST holders. I think any kind of open ballot would be a huge error, eclipsing anything The Don ever did. For balance though (to avoid coming across as a 'better fan'), I don't think next season's renewals should have any bearing either.

Season ticket holders have always bought their tickets with the added perk of being prioritised for getting tickets for any play offs, cup ties etc.......and rightly so

I should have worded it better. This season should absolutely have priority. I think though even then demand will far outweigh ticket supply. Maybe then to lower the number eligible first refusal could be this season and next and second priority this season, although I would imagine 90 odd percent who got one this season will get one for next anyway. I agree that a open ballot would be worse than any decision even Don Rowing ever made. If the people who supported the club when they needed them the most aren't first in line it is wrong.

I'm not a season ticket holder, and have probably ended up spending more on iFollow than I would've done on a season ticket. But, I didn't commit to spending that money up front. Season ticket holders should absolutely get priority on any play off tickets that are available.
