The club, and more importantly the team for what they did on Saturday deserve the backing of a full Oakwell. Things are going pretty well at the Well this season. And now we have got this massive game coming up. Personally I would have paid £50. (But don't tell Shep) :D

    £25 quid a ticket !

Sorry but it stinks! I agree with nudger about crynes backing but lets face it the fans back the club week in week out and get very little back. Look at how quick we sold the anfield tickets. The big men aren't exactly sort of a bob or two

are you going to miss out on a experience of a recent lifetime. A team once they get some consistency together will be vying for promotion to the premier league. On Saturday we showed we were not outclassed by premiership opposition. quality of football has risen. The footie club has backed the manager ,now its our turn to back the team. and why not go for the experience ,the good times are here.bet Wednesday, sufc fans would be gagging to get tkts if it were them.
our chance to show its not just a flash in the pan last Saturdays result
.Backed by a full turn out from the Barnsley faithful ,old and new.(new means new fans, we all want a full stadium or at least 2k more per home game,it will definatly sustain BFC to bigger and a brighter future.
or put it another way its only another pint in the pub the difference in the cost on match day prices .
Or if you want to see chelski v Barnsley at stamford bridge in the premiership nearly double.

The fans get very little back? I would call a win against Liverpool getting something back. That memory will live with me forever and the game with Chelsea I am thoroughly looking forward to. We also have low enterance fees compared to most grounds in this league and for what has been spent I think we have a team that could realistically challenge for promotion next season. I for one am very satisfied with club(barring the fiasco with Liverpool tickets(lesson learned I hope)). Oh and what about the free coaches to Southend?</p>

If you get very little back from supporting BFC then I would suggest you try another sport or something. What about the feeling you get when we win, or escape relegation, or win promotion. That is what you take from the game. Enjoyment. A sense of being part of something. Camaraderie. Memories. Whatever.

not moaning about the cost at all but....

to say winning a game is giving something back is wrong. thats what we watch them for, thats what their paid for - to win games.

i think though it is crazy that people are moaning of 3-4 quid

All I would say is that I understand some rumblings, what with the cost of Anfield, then QPR then Wednesday, and add the away games in. BUT it's the quarter final of the FA Cup, at home, against Chelski. What do people expect or want? I half expected up to 30 quid and 15 for kids.
Personally speaking I have my two kids who are season ticket holders with me. One is under 11 and one 12. Both will be fifteen quid each but by hook or by crook we will all be there. This is their second chance of a lifetime to see international superstars, and this one 20 mins walk away. I thought Anfield was their chance, but they have another one and I 'm damned if I can't tighten the pursestrings for a few weeks to make sure they do. I remember when I was a kid seeing all the top players on football stickers and cards and one day hoping to see them play. They get the cards and stickers now, and being in a position to go, I won't be able to forgive myself if they miss this opportunity.

I feel sorry for those who genuinely struggle with the finances. We've all been there at some time.
