I feel sorry for those guys that did queue only to be turned away at the last minute - thats who we should feel sorry for


......................so please try to make a judgement with all the facts and not just those that you think maybe there

Some of them people in the queue were getting my ticket so I did'nt queue but that dont make you right !

The club have admitted they have cocked up.

 

It does seem to me that the majority of people that have come on here and said they have tickets

seem to be students or other idle layabouts. /poo

Massive contradiction there to what you are arguing. Some people were there with 10 ST's. Thats 20 people with a ticket and only 1 deserves it by your logic, but you are quite happy with that. Which is it? Do they deserve to have a ticket or not? Surely the people that really deserve it are the ones that go every week. You talk nonsense.

 

They are all young and said they had time to go and stand there

plus the fact that in the past they tend to mention things like going to college, maybe thats where I got it from.

that the stipulation for wanting a ticket for a football match meant you had to take a day off work and queue in freezing weather for up to 10 hours!

It's the 21st Century for christs sake......if they can't organise a better system than that they may as well just give in.

And before you say anything - I wasn't going anyway.

The ticket office is a shambles.............surely a better system than this can be used
I said yesterday that the lassess in the office might be ok but its very very slow process buying a ticket
There needs to be a major overall of the way people can buy tickets
I'm sure it dosen't happen like this in America

As for the earlier messages i posted critisizing the club - I feel I must explain.
i was told that a ST could be used for the Liverpool match more than once to buy tickets, this system of a ST being used continually to buy tickets was used for example during the Wembley play offs...........hence I posted about the club not careing in this instance seeing that on this occasion there were only 6000 tickets

However, I was later told on this occasion this was not the case and the voucher in the ST was taken out so only 2 tickets could be bought by any one ST
So from this I changed my opinion - because surely this is the system that has been used in the recent past i.e. One ST can buy 2 tickets
All the times i have queued for tickets I have always took my own ST and other peoples ST and bought enough tickets for all of our group to go to the match........and most other people do exactly the same.......and this is what has happened this time and I cannot see the fault in it
Why? because I still cannot see myself queueing with my ST just to buy one ticket just for myself to go to a match
If others cannot come along to the match with me I dont want to go
And for all those that say I want a ticket because I want to go and watch the match and are not bothered whether their family and friends can get there or not, to me this is selfish beyond believe and is not what going to a football match is about
